FA Cup Third Round Betting Tips, 6th to 9th January 2017
There are some very enticing ties in the Cup at the weekend, and here we pick out the betting tips we think will turn in a profit.
Top FA Cup Betting Tips
- Bolton to beat Crystal Palace – 27/10 with Bet365
- West Ham v Man City: both teams to score – 8/13 with BetVictor
- Preston v Arsenal: over 3.5 goals – 6/4 with BetVictor
There could be a few giant-killings going on over the weekend and one side we think will be able to raise their game to knock out a side from a higher division is Bolton Wanderers.
The Trotters might be down in League One these days but they are in second position and have been playing well. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, haven’t. Big Sam has a job on his hands to stay in the Premier League and we fancy he’ll rest some key players here after a busy festive period, which will give Bolton the only chance they need to sneak the victory.
Moving on to the Friday night game and we anticipate a frenetic and open affair in which both sides go all out for victory. With City likely to rest a couple of players we think there will be goals at both ends, bringing home our BTTS bet at decent enough odds.
Our final tip is for something of a goalfest to occur when Preston host Arsenal in Saturday’s late kick off. The Gunners are another side who will certainly rest players but the second string will want to prove their worth and Preston will also fancy themselves to get on the scoresheet. At such, over 3.5 goals looks a decent option at odds of 6/4.
Other results we fancy coming in include the following: Birmingham to beat Newcastle at 7/2; Everton to beat Leicester at 11/13; Hull to beat Swansea at 28/17; Norwich to beat Southampton at 5/2 and Sunderland to beat Burnley at 11/8.
