The biggest match of the entire Copa America may well be this semi final between Argentina and Brazil. Brazil are favourites but Argentina are amazing value with this 33/1 offer from 888sport.

Neither side has really set the tournament alight but that could all well change here. Some fans will view this game as the final and there is no doubt that whoever prevails will be a big favourite. The normal odds on Brazil are 10/11 (with Coral), with Argentina out at 7/2 with bet365.

That means this 33/1 offer is giving you nine times the best non-enhanced odds if you fancy Argentina to do the business. With Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and many other top stars, the underdogs clearly have a great chance so why not claim this 33/1 Argentina promo and see if you can land a massive win?

Brazil v Argentina Odds and Tips

Many will feel this is too close to call, despite the bookies pricing Brazil as odds-on favourites. These are the two giants of South American football and the rivalry between them is fierce. Brazil are the hosts but, of course, it was at this stage of their own World Cup where theycame unstuck and the pressure on them is always huge but even more so in front of their own highly expectant fans.

Brazil have “only” won the Copa America eight times, well behind Argentina’s 14 wins. Indeed, Messi and co would join Uruguay as the most successful Copa America nation on 15 wins if they go all the way this time around.

Messi is yet to win a major international title and after many years of hurt many feel this could well be his year. 33/1 on Argentina is certainly a massive price but can they do it?

  • Argentina to win in 90 minute at 33/1 with 888sport (new customer offer)
  • Argentina and BTTS at 17/2 with bet365

Argentina were poor in the group phase, taking just four points as they drew with Paraguay and lost 2-0 to Colombia. They improved, however, against Venezuela, winning 2-0 and we feel they can work their way into the tournament having won their last two and drawn the game prior. It is well worth noting that Venezuela drew 0-0 with Brazil in the group phase.

It seems inconceivable that Messi will not win the Copa America and given Brazil’s stuttering form and the huge pressure on them we think now is Argentina’s time. 7/2 seems more than fair for them here but clearly at 33/1 the value on them is massive.

Goals at Last

The 2019 Copa America has not been one for the neutral with some poor games and goals few and far between. There have been five 0-0s already, with Brazil involved in two of those. Three came in the quarter finals, with Argentina the only team to score in that round, shootouts excluded.

We see that changing here though. Despite the huge pressure on both teams and the fact a close game seems likely, we predict there will be goals in this one. Neither side is overly attacking but we think they will rise to the occasion and so Argentina and BTTS is our second tip for this game.

Odds of 17/2 seem more than fair for such an outcome, with 2-1 or 3-1 decent bets at longer odds. That said, none of those options gets close to the 33/1 and that’s just for Argentina to win!
