Portugal v Wales Euro 2016 Semi Final – which team will win?

Wales have been the surprise package of Euro 2016. They did slip to defeat against England (in hindsight, quite a poor result!) but they have been magnificent since. In their quarter final victory over Belgium, they showed guile, skill and belief as they cruised to the 3-1 win. And we fancy they can do the same against Portugal.

Okay there is a chance Cristiano Ronaldo might turn up to spoil the Welsh party; but we feel the togetherness of the Welsh team and the way in which they are able to defend as a unit will see them win the day. It might be a close one, but we’re backing Wales to win the match 2-1.

It should be noted that Portugal haven’t yet won a match in normal time at the Euros. With Wales having won four games (Belgium, Northern Ireland, Russia and Slovakia) we think they have the momentum to get the win.

As such, if we didn’t already have a betting account with 888sport, we’d be plumping for the massive odds of 16/1 on the Wales win. Obviously the choice is yours though, so make your mind up and take advantage of this excellent enhanced odds offer.
