Will Barca, Bayern, Man United and Roma all win?

Ah, the million dollar question. Well, the £100 question for sure. Whatever happens, getting odds of 100/1 on a bet that should be more like 17/1 is a great deal. However, you can’t do much with a great deal and top value unless it wins!

With any acca there is a degree of risk as you need multiple sides and bets to play ball. But this Champions League Betfair fourfold really is low risk. All four sides are clear favourites and all will; very much fancy their chances of winning.

Tuesday 20th February – Chelsea v Barcelona and Bayern Munich v Besiktas

Chelsea have had a mixed season all in all. The current Premier League champions have been rather hit and miss at times and though they have had some decent results in Europe (notably their victory at Atletico Madrid), they have suffered some bad defeats on home soil (going down 4-1 to Watford last time out in the league).

In short, we think Barca will simply be too hot for Chelsea to handle and we’re confident the Catalans will get our 100/1 acca off to a winning start.

Bayern’s match against Turkish side Besiktas is easier to call. Ther Germans are really hitting their stride again after bring back Jupp Heynckes as manager and we think they’ll win this one with room to spare.

Wednesday 21st February – Sevilla v Man United and Shakhtar v Roma

If any side is going to bring down the 100/1 acca, it will be Sevilla. Man United have been pragmatic in Europe and done enough to get the results they’ve needed. But it is Jose Mourinho’s pragmatism and possible acceptance of a draw in this one which might cost us.

Hopefully, though, Jose will throw a little caution to the wind and send his team out with victory on their minds. If so, United have more than enough to get the win to keep the acca alive.

Roma, meanwhile, face a tricky trip to face Shakhtar and there is a chance they will come unstuck. But we are all about seeking out betting value and an accumulator priced at odds of 100/1 is not to be sniffed at when it’s been boosted by more than five times the standard odds, so we’re happy to stick our necks out and predict a Roma win to complete the set! Good luck.
