Man City v Liverpool – Both Teams to Score in the Second Half – 15/8

Although Man City know they must score at least three goals to keep their Champions League hopes alive, Pep Guardiola will be wary about an overly attacking approach. If City come flying out of the gates there’s a chance they will score multiple times in the first half but there’s also a chance that Liverpool will pick them off on the counter.

There may actually be a slightly nervy start to Tuesday’s match. That will give way to desperation the longer that Man City go without overturning the deficit though. Neutrals will be hoping for a thrilling climax to this tie. That’s entirely possible which makes 15/8 look very big about both teams scoring the second half.

Bayern Munich v Sevilla – Bayern to Win to Nil – 11/10

There is something special about Sevilla when they play in cup competitions. Despite an average campaign in La Liga, Sevilla are in the Copa del Rey final and knocked out Man Utd against the odds in the Champions League round of 16. It’s difficult to write Sevilla off in any cup but they really do look to have met their match in Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions elect won 2-1 away to Sevilla in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final and there is no chance that Jupp Heynckes will allow his payers to take their eyes off the prize. Bayern have improved immeasurably since the popular manager’s return and they should control Wednesday’s game to win to nil.

CSKA Moscow v Arsenal – Arsenal to Score Over 1.5 Goals – Evens

Arsenal fans have seen enough perplexing performances from their team to be a little cautious going into the second leg against CSKA Moscow. The Gunners were full value for their 4-1 home win last weekend but it’s not going to be easy out in the Russian capital.

CSKA will throw everything they have at Arsenal and will believe they can grab the three goals minimum they need to qualify. However, Arsenal are more than capable of hurting the hosts on the counter and are good value to score two or more goals.

Marseille v RB Leipzig – Draw/RB Leipzig Double Chance – 4/9

RB Leipzig may not have played continental football before but they’ve certainly not been overawed by the challenge. They may have exited the Champions League in the group stage but they’ve carried on attacking the Europa League with the same gusto that they’ve become known for.

The Bundesliga side’s 1-0 home win against Marseille sets their quarter final up nicely. Marseille need to strike the perfect balance between attack and defence while RB Leipzig can take the tie away from their opponents with an away goal or two. Leipzig’s never say die attitude should see them avoid defeat and book their place in the Europa League semis.
