Coral French Open Djokovic offer 2016

Novak Djokovic is one of the greats of tennis but though he has won just about everything there is to win in the game, the French Open still eludes him. Priced as the odds-on favourite to complete the career Grand Slam at Roland Garros in 2016, the Serb looks well set to get the job done.

If you think he’ll have enough to make amends for his final defeat to Stan Wawrinka last year and complete his set of majors, why not take full advantage of this cracking offer from Coral?

Will Novak Djokovic win the French Open in 2016?

As mentioned, Novak Djokovic has won just about everything there is to win in tennis – including 11 Grand Slam titles (tied fourth in the Open Era with the great Bjorn Borg).

But the absence of the French Open among his titles is clearly something the 29 year old wants to put right. He had a great chance to do just that last year when he reached the final without dropping a set in the first five rounds and also beat both Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray en route to the final. But he stumbled at the last hurdle as he slumped to a four-set defeat to number eight seed Stan Wawrinka.

Given that Djokovic went on to win the next two Grand Slams (Wimbledon and the US Open) there were clearly no ill effects from the defeat, and – given that he won the Australian Open once again this year – he has the chance to hold all four Slams at once with success in France.

The bookies certainly think the Serbian maestro can get the job done with all of them making him the odds-on favourite to go all the way. With Roger Federer missing the tournament through injury, the main challengers will be Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray, but Djokovic has had the beating of both of those players when it really matters (at the Slams) in recent times and we can’t see Djokovic slipping up this year.

As such, if you don’t already have a betting account with Coral, we think this is a great offer with which to make a decent profit from a £5 bet – especially as you’ll have the insurance policy of a £5 free bet should the Serb mess up your bet!
