Paddy Power Enhanced odds of 6/1 on Silviniaco Conti to win the Betfair Chase at Haydock on Saturday 21st November
Odds-on favourite Silviniaco Conti (priced at just 8/11 at the time of writing) looks well set to take the five-horse Betfair Chase by storm at Haydock on Saturday. And if you don’t already have a betting account with Paddy Power you can cash in as the Irish bookie are offering massively enhanced odds of 6/1 on the Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old.
He won the Betfair Chase both last year and in 2012 and he’s the class act of the field in this year’s renewal, making this offer one that is too good for racing punters to ignore! Not least because Paddy Power will also give you a £10 free bet every week between now and the Cheltenham Festival as long as you bet £10 of your own cash each week!
Betfair Chase Betting Tips – 3.00 at Haydock, Saturday 21st November 2015
As mentioned, Silviniaco Conti is the class act of the field, but could any of the other runners spring a surprise at Haydock on Saturday?
If any horse is going to challenge (and we don’t honestly think any will!), then it would be Cue Card who won this race in 2013 (when Silviniano Conti placed third). Trained by Colin Tizzard, the nine-year-old won the Ryanair Chase at the 2013 Cheltenham Festival, but since his Betfair Chase victory in the same year he hasn’t been able to rediscover his best form and – frankly – he is simply not aging as well as Silviniaco Conti is. Priced at best odds of 3/1 to win on Saturday, we think he simply won’t have the legs to keep pace with the favourite.
French gelding Dynaste – who is priced around the 8/1 mark with most bookies – won the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham in 2014, but hasn’t tasted victory since and we fancy his best days are also behind him. Neither of the other two runners – Ballynagour or Holywell – are in the same class as the favourite so, in short, it’s Silviniaco Conti all the way for us.
So if you don’t already have a betting account with Paddy Power, now could be the right time to join them as you be given massively enhanced odds of 6/1 on the favourite of the biggest race of the weekend, and he’s a favourite who we think will certainly deliver!
