This is clearly a tough game to call, with two very well-matched sides. Both have world class managers and yet both have underperformed this term. Pep and Klopp will both be feeling the pressure but a win here would make things look a whole lot rosier.

The Draw?

Given there is little between the teams, the draw may tempt some at odds of 11/4 with Coral. The rivals have drawn 40 times in the league, with 22 of those stalemates coming at City. When it comes to recent league meetings, however, Liverpool have the upper hand. The Reds have won the last four, including at Anfield earlier this season. They nicked that 1-0 and City will be looking for revenge.

They have four points from six against Chelsea and Spurs, have done the double over Arsenal and will hope to complete the double over City and Everton.

Home Advantage to Swing It

Ultimately though, we feel home advantage will just swing this towards the Citizens. City have beaten Arsenal at home and only Chelsea have beaten them all season. Odds of evens look very solid to us.

We think it will be a close game though and also a thriller. Neither side can defend but both can be dazzling going forward. 3-2 is always going to be a long shot but odds of 22/1 look very much worth a small punt.
