West Brom v Leicester – Leicester to Win – 31/20

Normally at this stage of the season, teams in the middle of the table find it hard to motivate themselves. Look at Leicester for example. The Foxes aren’t going to be relegated and they won’t book a place in the Europa League via their league place.

You would think, therefore, that Leicester would find it tough to beat a West Brom side who are scrapping to avoid relegation. Unfortunately, this is a very poor West Brom team who are in danger of sinking like a stone. Alan Pardew appears to have lost the dressing room and he may lose his job after another damaging defeat.

Huddersfield v Swansea – The Draw – 2/1

Huddersfield’s mini rival came to an end last weekend when they were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham at Wembley Stadium. Swansea’s change in fortunes, however, continued as they climbed up to 13th thanks to a 4-1 rout of West Ham at the Liberty Stadium.

Carlos Carvalhal has found success in away games tougher to come by since replacing Paul Lambert as Swansea manager. There’s nothing quite like momentum to get teams out of the relegation mire though and Swansea should be able to ride theirs to secure a valuable point away to Huddersfield.

Chelsea v Crystal Palace – Chelsea to Win and Over 2.5 Goals – 10/11

Teams in real danger of relegation cannot afford to throw away two goal leads. Unfortunately for Roy Hodgson, that’s exactly what his Crystal Palace team did against Man Utd on Monday night. The Eagles have no option now other than to dust themselves off and come out fighting again in the London derby against Chelsea.

There are big question marks over what sort of team Chelsea will put out on Saturday given their upcoming match against Barcelona. If Antonio Conte does rest some of his stars it could help improve the spectacle of Saturday’s match.

Crystal Palace will be emboldened to push forward against a Chelsea second string while those who start for the Blues will want to book their place in the team for the Camp Nou. The home side should have enough for the win but they may have to score three goals to secure it.

Bournemouth v Tottenham – Bournemouth to Score Over 1.5 Goals – 13/5

Bournemouth’s home record has been surprisingly poor this season but the Dean Court faithful have at least been treated to some good performances recently. It’s now four home games unbeaten for the Cherries and they’ve scored two goals in all of those matches.

Scoring two against a defence as strong as Tottenham’s is no easy feat but Eddie Howe will be confident that his team can do just that. The Spurs players will be dealing with the effects of their Champions League match against Juventus, something Bournemouth will look to capitalise on.
