Brighton v Huddersfield – Brighton to Win to Nil – 33/2

One of the truisms of the Premier League is that one team always plummets down the table late on and into real relegation trouble. Unfortunately for Huddersfield fans it’s their team who is fulfilling that role this season. The Terriers have won just twice since Christmas and it’s only the poor form of the teams below them that has kept them out of the bottom three.

In contrast, Brighton have been able to climb away from trouble even if nobody at the club is counting their chickens just yet. Chris Hughton is desperate for his team to bounce back from last week’s home defeat against Leicester. That’s well within their capabilities against a Huddersfield team who haven’t even scored a goal in four matches.

Burnley v Watford – Burnley to Win

After the way that they began the season, you’d have to say that it’s been a disappointing campaign all told for Watford. Not only has their form tailed off dramatically but they lost Marco Silva after his head was apparently turned by the Everton job.

Burnley’s Sean Dyche was also heavily linked with the vacancy at Goodison Park but he kept his counsel and his eye on his current job. Dyche’s application has paid dividends as Burnley are finishing the season just as strongly as they began it.

This is Burnley’s third away game in a row but having beaten both West Ham and West Brom, the Clarets look a very good price for another win at Vicarage Road.

Man City v Man Utd – Under 2.5 Goals – 21/20

Man Utd will be cast in the role of party poopers when they visit the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. They’d hate it if Man City were to win the title by winning the derby and will do everything in their power to slow the tempo and kill the game.

The Manchester derby always gets a big build up but there’s every chance this could fall a little flat. Not that Man City will care providing they grab the one goal they need to win the title.

Chelsea v West Ham – Chelsea to Win and Both Teams to Score – 2/1

Chelsea’s hopes of playing Champions League football are incredibly forlorn after their defeat at home to Tottenham last weekend. The fall out from this failure could see some of the Blues’ best players leave in the summer but all those stars will be looking to put themselves in the shop window both for a move and for a place in the World Cup until the end of the season.

That could spell trouble for West Ham on Sunday. The Irons eased their relegation worries with victory over Southampton and could grab a goal at Stamford Bridge, holding on to avoid defeat is another matter entirely.
